Just got out of the tub scented with EL Beautiful-Love. It was a gift so I'll use it but not my favorite at all; kinda reminds me of my Granny's bottle of White Shoulders.
Anyway, I am ordering some "Happy Hippy" bath gel tonight from Lush. Dumb name but great smelling stuff -- very fresh pink grapefruit. I wish they made it in cologne but sadly, they do not.
ANYWHO - what's your fave?:goodvibes

I usually wear one of the following for a year: Obession, Romance, or Pi

But lately I have found an oil (at the Georgia Renfest) that works great with my body chemistry, it is called Medival Forest.

hmm depends on the season.. (ok now how gay do i sound..LOL)

Clinique Happy for the summer months

Escape Spring/fall

Men 212 for winter

and some random standbys when i get sick of those

Aqua Di Gio (which i now know thanks to a commercial I have been pronouncing all together wrong)

America

That is about it..LOL

Oooooh -- Love Clinique Happy. And I think you are right -- some scents are better in the winter and others are better in the summer.

EQ -- Years ago, I fell in love with a solid sachet I bought at a crafts fair. I used it all up and then I carried the little tin around with me -- trying to find something similar. Surely one of life's smallest disappointments; but I still remember it today.

Funny story about last night...DH comes home fairly late and goes into the bathroom. He comes out again all happy and says "Good! Tucker (our son who, fer sure, did no such thing) musta sprayed for bugs like I told him!". He was smellin' the EL Beautiful. LOL!!!!! The funny part is: guess who bought it for me?!?! :lmao: You're right! It was Christmas and I bet he didn't even do a sniff test before forkin' over the big bucks at the first cosmetics counter he saw at Macy's or wherever. :rotfl2: So here I sit this am, smelling faintly of Estee Lauder/Raid (take yer pick) and I'm still scratching mozzie bites. :rotfl2:

I don't use perfumes or colognes. They have a tendency to make me sneeze, but I love scented body wash and scented soaps.

I like lavender in particular. I like herbal scents for the most part. But, I love Crabtree and Evelyn, and Casswell-Massey products. Damask Rose, Spring Rain, goat's milk soap... they are all really nice products from those companies.

Scent is so evocative, isn't it? I was at a small wine tasting last weekend and when I sniffed the malbec my first response was, "This smells like EPCOT!" LOL.

Depending on: time of year; time of day; where I am going; who I am going with; and what I will be doing; my rotation includes (and these are the only ones I can remember offhand- there are more):
V/S by Versace
Polo Sport for Women
Nautica Women
Obbsession
Colors by Benetton

On men, I still like the smell of Paul Sebastian.

Not answering what I like on other women. (safe answer)

I now will be working in the wine & spirits industry. Our store sponsers tastings. When confirmations are sent to participants, they are asked not to wear cologne or perfume to the event. The nose (both yours and the wines) is a big part of the taste, and overbearing enviromental scents can hinder this.

You are SO right --whenever I'm doing something like a wine tasting (Duh -- like maybe 2 times in my whole flippin' life LOL!) or deer hunting (hmm...this is starting to sound like one of them "you might be a redneck if..." jokes) -- it's plain ole' Ivory soap.

And what's ickier, than getting into an elevator with somebody who has doused themselves over-much with anything??? I love smell-good juice but in my mind, it oughta be like fancy undies -- you know it's there... and somebody you are very close to, if they are lucky, might find out. :goodvibes

For some reason whenever I wear Perry Ellis Red, I get tons of compliments and questions about it. It must work with my body chemistry or whatever happens. Needless to say, I wore it so much I've officially run out. My other favorites are Lucky You and Tommy but my collection is large. I wear cologne every day, I feel naked without it  The DBF likes Curves and Drakar (I know how 80's), but he mainly puts it on when we are going out on the town.

It's really old school, but I love Drakkar Nior...

It doesnt work well with all people though.

OMG , My first boyfriend wore this and I still love it. Your right it doesnt work on everyone ( Oh Boy it did on him <G> )

I don't usually like wearing anything , I don't even use deodorant, but every great while I will wear EL Beautiful too. I have the spray and the solid ( like a wax )

I love Obsession Night for men. It's wonderful. I also used to love the Avon Musk for men, but they changed out their product line and it just wasn't the same the last time I got some. I used to love Drakkar Noir, but Gabby doesn't like it on me....but boy my good ex did. lol Maggie

Yep, I'm a child of the 80s, what can I say:banana:

Drakkar Noir, started using it again and gets compliments on it.

I love Acca Kappa cologne - found it at the Venitian in Vegas, they said you can only get it there or in Italy. We found it online though. It smells nice and clean. I would say that's my favorite.

Then I like Ultra Violite Man and Jordan.

I used to be obsessed with Obsession!!!

For some reason women's perfumes tend to smell sickly sweet on my skin and masculine scents suit me better. I like dramatic, deep, perfumes and have been alternating between these three by Comme des Garcons for a few years now:

Comme Des Garcons - Ouazarzate
Comme Des Garcons - 2 Man
Base Notes (White Smoke, Nutmeg, Cumin, Mahogony, Saffron, Nutmeg, Leather)
Comme Des Garcons - Sequoia
Base Notes (Red Rum, Kara-Karoundé, Agarwood, Mahogany, Redwood)

They are kinda hard to come by but I got my 'dealers' and I stock up whenever I travel!!!

I was out helping my DW mom pick out cologne for her boyfriend and found Axe Lab. I have been wearing that for about a year now. Otherwise I like Curve for Men.

Bowling green is great. By. Geoffory Beene...VERY cheap at perfumaina 20.00
Creed Vetiver and Green Irish tweed is also great! 125.00 at least per bottle.
