What is your favorite character meal and why? If I didn't list your favorite, please tell me which one it is...:)

Out of the ones you listed, we have done Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill. We have never done CRT or 1900 Park Fair -- we have two boys who would not be DEAD near princesses at that age (now, that's all they date :lmao: :rotfl2: ). We did Ohana when it was the old character breakfast, Minnie's Menehue and there was no Stitch--sorry Stitch fans, we just don't care for him.

In any event, out of the three, we absolutely love the Crystal Palace for breakfast and NEVER miss it. We look Pooh and friends, and we love the potato casserole and the PUFFED FRENCH TOAST. It is also neat to get one of the first ADR's and be able to walk down Main Street practically empty and get great pictures.

Mine isnt on the list, Cape May breakfast

Crystal Palace. We love the atmosphere. Breakfast ADRs are great because you can get a pic of the castle without many people if you get there early enough.

Chef Mickeys was OK for the character interaction but the dinner food was uninspired. We didn't like LTT at all. I was glad that we tried CRT for breakfast but my DD is now over her princess phase and we won't be going back. I really liked Askherhus for dinner but then I'm 1/2 Norwegian and it reminded me of my grandma's cooking. We have done lunch and dinner at CP and that is our favorite that I book every trip. Our new character meal that we're trying this year is Donald's Safari Breakfast because my DD wants to see Daisy.

Voted for Chef Mickey's because it was the only time we got to meet Mickey!! Also, we did breakfast there and we loved the food! Next time we go we plan to do both breakfast AND dinner there because DS3 went crazy there and it's all he talks about!

Crystal Palace was a very close second. We loved it there, we went for dinner. The food was excellent!! Great character interaction too. Did not care too much for the service though, our waiter was not so great.

Also loved 1900 Park Fare, but my kids were very shy around the face characters as opposed to the larger-than-life characters! I was shocked about this actually. Loved the food there though, but DH did not care for it as much.

We also really enjoyed LTT. Excellent food and character interaction.

It was very hard to pick just one! We did 5 character meals on our trip (Hollywood & Vine breakfast was the 5th, at DHS...we really loved that one too!!), and loved them all! I would do all of them again in a heartbeat!

We love "O'HANA'S BEST FRIENDS BREAKFAST".
One of my favorite characters is LILO.
There is also Stitch (he's so much fun) Mickey and Pluto.
The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere not loud like CM.
I also really enjoy the food at "O'hana's"
We've eaten here 2 different trips and will be eating here
again next month--can't wait!!:thumbsup2

I voted for LTT, although they will no longer have characters after January 5th. We have also done lunch at Crystal Palace & thought that was pretty good. We are doing Ohana's Breakfast next trip....looking forward to that. DD3 loves Lilo & Stitch!!

Our favorite is Garden Grill, because of the great character interaction. Dale was sooo wonderful with my daughter. He danced with her, took her around with him to other tables, kept coming back to see her, and loved on her lots.
She was just too happy for words (Chip and Dale are her favorites)!

Although we have enjoyed all the character meals we have been to (CRT is the only one on the list that we have not been to yet), sometimes it can be just take a picture, get an autograph and move on. Garden Grill was just so much more than expected.:thumbsup2

Hard to pick a favorite. We loved to atmosphere and quietness
of Garden Grill. Food was good especially the salad and Mickey and Chip and Dale were great and came around a couple of times. My girls love Playhouse Disney so Hollywood and Vine was the best to them but a little more chaotic
for adults. 1900 Park fare had good food and the step sisters made the
night. They were really into character. Looking forward to Crystal Palace and Storybook Princess next year!

Our absolute favorite is the Princess Storybook in Epcot and we love dinner.

Though this last trip we did Cape May for Breakfast and it was totally awesome as was our Play and Dine at DHS. This trip we had the best charachter meals ever at WDW.

I am not a fan of CM horrible incident there. 1900 was okay and CP was very good also.

Chef Mickey's is my favorite.:mickeyjum

Our last trip (1st for my boys BTW) we did:

Cinderella's Royal Table (lunch)
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner @ on my son's birthday)
Crystal Palace (breakfast @ on my son's birthday)
O'hana Character Breakfast

Now, my boys were 8 and turning 6 at the time. They "humored" me at Cinderella's, stood up with each princess, smiled and had their picture taken. They were enthralled to be inside the castle though and since they were given swords with lunch...well THAT made it worth their while!

Liberty Tree Tavern was a highlight! Our server, Will, was excellent and the food was scrumptious! They made a BIG deal out of my son for his b-day too! We'll miss the old LTT!

Crystal Palace was ok. The food was good. (especially that puffed french toast-YUM) But it was too much food that early in the morning for my kids to eat. The characters seemed the most rushed out of all the places we had been, which was fine with my kids since they really had outgrown W-the-P and friends by this age. (is that possible???)

The kids have voted O'hana Character Breakfast their absolute favourite! It is the ONE restaurant they have requested to return to. The food is good-love the family style! The characters were amazing! They spent ample time with us and seemed to have the most fun there (even with the wait staff). At one point Stitch took my son's "Stitch" ball cap, put it on and sat down. Well, Pluto tried to get him off the chair, and when he wouldn't budge, Pluto proceeded to push Stitch in the chair, all around the restaurant!

Be warned, :stitch2: he also picks his nose and flicks it!

One thing to also consider is the fact that many guests like certain character meals for certain times of the day. Personally, we prefer CP for breakfast over anything else. For dinner, we prefer LTT.

Mickey is my favorite character but we always have such a great time at CP that we go every time we are scheduling a day at MK. I just can't give it up. Going in October.
