What is your favorite Brand of Potato Chips?

I swear by our local Tops store brand of BBQ. My second favorite is Lays salt and vinegar.

I also love Zapps, but they aren't available in Indiana. We go to New Orleans once or twice a year and have the Zapps in the hotel room for snacks.

In Indiana I eat Lay's WOW chips.

mrsmom I've tried Grippos BBQ! I had to pick some up for a student when I was in Cincy for a conference last spring. It was quite a trip trying to find them.

I haven't heard of most of the brands mentioned.

disneychrista - I have not heard of a lot of the brands mentioned since I do believe that a lot of chip brands are regional.

For example - my very favorite chips are Troyer Farms - plain. They are made near where I grew up and are probably just distributed in about a 200 mile radius of the plant. I am glad that I still live within that 200 mile radius.

My second favorite are Wise BBQ. Probably the original BBQ chip - and also the best IMO.

I'm not a big potato chip eater, but I can't resist Grandma Utz! Utz and Herr's are definitely a Pennsylvania thing. PA has lots of regional food producers who make great quality stuff. Turkey Hill Iced Tea for example. Mmmmmm....

Here in Pittsburgh we do have Herr's - but we don't usually have Utz. Don't usually see Utz anywhere in western PA, although I am thinking that we have seen them in Ohio and New York.
