I really dislike bottled dressings. I usually don't put dressing on my salads. I like the taste of the vegetables as they are. When I do use dressing, I make it myself using the packaged Ranch dressing mix and buttermilk.
Actually have a new favorite. It is Hidden Valley Roasted Onion and Parmesian. I saw it one day when I was getting ready to pick up a new bottle if ranch and thought what the heck I'll try it. It is really good!
I am absolutely in love with Olde Cape Cod Fat Free Toasted Sesame Soy and Ginger vinagrette & marinade dressing. 40 calories in 2 tablespoons.
It's wonderful on a spinach salad, but is also great on chicken, beef, and seafood. I use it as a dipping sauce for Arnold's whole grain sandwich thins. My husband thinks I'm obsessed with it since I want it all the time. I think he's right.
I'm not a huge fan of bottled dressing. I usually use EVOO, balsamic vinegar, and some fresh pepper. I think even semi-homemade is better. I like the Good Seasonings (maybe?) Mild Italian packet that you just add oil and vinegar to.
Kens light creamy parmesean is wonderful but nfortunately it is getting harder and harder to find. I like poppyseed too but not sure who makes it. I think it is Briannas.
