What is your dream resort?

AKL concierge, maybe Jan 2009 for my 50th bday. I want to do the Sunrise Breakfast Safari.

Mine was the Poly and I did that in December and it turned into a nightmare instead of a Dream. Now I go into vacations just happy to be where I can comfortably afford to stay that is clean, has a friendly staff and doesn't make me regret spending my hard earned money.

This is one of the main reasons why I am weary of making the plunge to a Deluxe.

I'll say GF because I've always wanted to stay there, but never had the nerve to spend the money.

AKL Savannah View is my ultimate dream resort. I booked it for our upcoming trip, but due to construction drama, I got cold feet and changed our resort. One day.....

It was the Poly, we have stayed there twice now and loved every minute of it!! So now its the Grand Floridian. Some day....princess:

For me, it is definately the POLY.... Kind of alot of money, but maybe for a special occasion... My 11 year old son:darth: just informed me that his dream resort would be the Grand Floridian.. I guess he has good taste too!!!!;)

As a kid, it was always the Poly, but we finally got to stay there last October, and it was just as amazing as I knew it would be. :cloud9:

My new dream is to stay either Tower/MK view at CR, Savannah View at AKL, or anywhere in GF. Like a PP said, the room interiors at GF aren't exactly amazing (or at least not amazing for the price you're paying), but I think the lobby and grounds would totally make up for it. ;)

I wake up early, no alarm needed. I am perfectly refreshed even though we had a long and wonderful day at the parks the day before. I'm not tried, I have no blisters and I don't need to pop a Tylenol because my legs are so sore I can barely move ;). Room service brings coffee and croissants at precisely the right moment and I mosey out to the balcony to eat my breakfast while watching the giraffes eat theirs. I have 15-30 blissful and quite minutes to myself before my wonderful son wakes up. Amazingly, he is not tired or cranky and he didn't wake up with the flu. ( it's happened) We sit and have a great chat about how much fun we are having and he tells me that this is the best vacation he has ever had!

Ok, you did say dream right?

Anyway, my dream resort is Animal Kingdom. as a single mom I know I will never be able to afford staying there but I can always dream!:wizard:

Mines the Contemporary, with a magic Kingdom view. I've already informed my better half that is were we will stay for our honeymoon when we get married. His response was," it is good we would be getting married for a couple of years." I think I feel in love with this resort from the first time I went to disney and went through it on the monorail, there was just something.
