what is your dream car?

One of the best things about owning a car like this would be the fact that it blows away most of the so called 2 door sports cars.

*grunts like Tim Allen*

I like you! Anyone who thinks like that is my kinda person!

A white Mercedes Benz convertible. I have to settle for my blue Saab 9-3 convertible.

Eh, most of the old V-8's would blow the current crop of little sports cars off the road. Once they got rolling that is. ;)

Sorry, but I don't necessarily agree with this. I pretty much grew up under a car my entire life. My father owed Mustangs in the the late 60's and early 70's. I owned a 1968 Camaro RS/SS 396 325 HP. While the muscle cars had more brute power, the newer cars apply the power to the road much better, plus there is no comparison regarding the handling. Much of that is attributed to the tires. I don't think most people realize how fast some of today's cars are.

I would like a ----------
Crysler Crosfire OR
Soltise OR
That new Saturn convertable--I think it's called SKY
I always dream about cars I can afford so i'm never disapointed.
Of course I don't drive any of these cars :rotfl2: instead I drive a Big Black Van dedicated to the Pirates(BLACK PEARL) have the license plate, antenna topper ,front pirates plate and a pirate mickey sitting in the back seat and yes MICKEY is a back seat driver :wizard: . Susan

The new Saturn sports coupe is indeed the SKY. Check my post #37 in this thread for a photo of mine. Her name is "Baby Girl" :cloud9: and she stayed home in the garage today because they are saying we're going to get more bad weather. :(

There was a delorean in my town for sale for $1100..

"Dream car" is an oxymoron as far as I'm concerned. I care that my car is reliable and gets good gas mileage. Otherwise, I don't give a hoot what I'm driving. I guess in an ideal world if the Toyota Camry got 50 mpg, I might like to have a new one. ;)

That's funny.. I want my car to look good and get less than 10 miles to the gallon. And I'm not kidding either... Course with the 300C I have to high RPM it all the time to keep all 8 cyl running so I can get that gas mileage but its not hard in a car thats got 340 hp....

This whole "let's buy 4 cyl cars so we get better gas mileage" is a crock. I'm gonna buy my gas guzzling beast, course.. you don't pay a gas guzzling tax on it.. but I only got 9 mpg yesterday when I drove it.

I just bought my current dream car...a Cadillac CTS. I am in  with it.

However, my dream, dream car would be a Porsche, not sure exactly which one and not sure exactly if I will ever be able to buy one. :rotfl:

DH gets his dream car in a few years...a Corvette. :cool1:

Aston Martin Vanquish

Ohhhhh yeahhhhh.

That would look pretty sweet next to the new mini van wife wants.

Let's see Aston Martin vs. Mini Van.....maybe I should create a poll and let the DIS decide! :rotfl:

Anything that is reliable and paid off.

Seriously, I'm getting old. In my late teens and early 20s I had money to blow and bought a new car each year. It was my favorite hobby - I read the new car mags, went to car shows, test drove cars on the weekend, etc. I guess my priorities (or tastes LOL) changed because at this point, I could care less. My car is almost paid off and I can't wait to just drive it until it falls apart. I'm getting old *shrugs*

I've been driving what used to be my dream car for about 2 years now--Infiniti QX4

I say "used to be" because it's just too small for my family. I do love it though. So now, I'd like something a little bigger like an Acura MDX.

Or maybe a Lexus LX...but that's really way too expensive.

I heart CTS's also... too bad they don't come AWD and have BAD depreciation (sp).

I bought my dream car for cash in 1971 - a blue Cutlas Convertible. Oh how I loved that car. I kept it for almost 20 years!

Now my dream car would be a Honda Odyssey Touring model. I just bought my dad the Honda Odyssey EX-L.
