What is your description of a bully?

I was just wondering what everyone's description of a bully? Especially an adult bully although I find that children who are bullys turn out to be adult bullys and exibit the same characteristics.

I think a bully is someone who hurts you intentionally to make themselves feel better.

1. He/she is happy when someone (or anyone) else is experiencing something bad or sad.
2. He/she wants to cause trouble just to have some fun.
3. He/she picks on someone, then laughs when that person gets upset.
4. You see the bully and get this feeling he/she'd sell his/her mama just to make their mama cry.
5. He/she is blind to his/her own faults, but finds faults in EVERYONE else.

Someone who is probably an unhappy person and get's enjoyment and fulfillment by making others unhappy.

Someone who get's their kick out of making fun of others, who enjoys being the source of hurt feelings... and who feel's they have achieved some level of success if they can drive someone away from something they have enjoyed.

Someone who derives satisfaction from the power exerted over others. Someone who would rather be feared than loved. Someone who enjoys watching the helplessness of others.

Someone who hits (mentally or physically) when the other person can't hit back.

Someone who has failing self esteem, usually a loner(he/she may think they have friends, but others stay close enough not to be bullied themselves), intimidates others, lacks respect and this behavior is usually learned-probably from a sibling or parent! I just took a teachers workshop on this subject!
