I guess I should put a time limit on that question as to how long it took you to earn but I am cashing out for my May trip this week and have gotten this so far (since November of last year):

$16.00 and some change from eBates
$70.00 in Disney Dollars (CTTM, Creations, QR)
$75.00 in RFC GCs (MyPoints)
$30.00 in Starbucks GCs (MyPoints - But I give these to my nanny)
$ 5.00 Amazon GC (survey)
$ 4.00 (survey)
$30.00 I** referrals
$25.00 for my I** account

(another $25.00 each for my kids if you count that but I won't...I am leaving that $$ for them)

So that's $255.00...I guess not too bad since November. I don't do test drives or things like that so these are all from RP-ing and surveys. I do tend to shop online however, especially if there is free shipping involved! In any event, I think this is my best six month period yet. :)

I'll have to look them up again, and get back to you on that....

Okay, here are my totals from last year (most of which was used for our trip in December--bought 2-way radios from Amazon for the trip using GCs):

Vividence/Amazon GC = $20
Other Amazon = $4.04
Crayola Rebate = $1
1st Years Rebate = $4
eBates = $51.37
Ford Test Drives (2) = $150
GoZing/PayPal = $2
Greenfield = $83
LuckyPoints/WalMart GC = $15
MasterCard/Amazon GC = $15
MyPoints/Rainforest = $25
MyPoints/Webbies = $175
MySurvey = $40
PCHPoints/WalMart = $15
Pontiac TD/AMEX Cheque = $50
Synovate = $5
Viewpoint = $20.53
and Disney Visa/DDRD = $170

Other 2003 stuff (not related to Disney Trip):

Lands'End/Amazon GC = $30
AT&T Survey/Amazon GC = $10
GoZing/Amazon = $5.50
Mazda TD/Gap GC = $10
Mazda TD/Borders GC = $25
Vividence/Amazon = $15
Harris Poll/Olive Garden = $10
Greenpoints/LLBean = $25

Plus $10 Webbie from Blink and $40 WalMart GC from Memolink that I'll probably never see.

2004 Totals so far:

eBates =$12.09
Greenfield = $16
PCHPoints/WalMart = $15
SurveySpot = $15
Viewpoint = $15.87
Vividence/Amazon = $10
Harris Poll/Olive Garden = $10
ZoomPanel/Baby Einstein DVD ~ $20
Other Amazon GC = $10
and Disney Visa/DDRD = $52

So that all adds up to $845.94 for our Disney Trip in 2003, plus another $130.50 in other GC, or $976.44 total for 2003. (Of course you need to subtract off the $80 or so that I spent on Tupperware.) And $175.96 so far for 2004. I actually had "money" leftover after the Disney trip (Webbies and DDRD) that I ended up spending on clothes for Alina sometime in January. I think our "out-of-pocket" money for the 2003 trip was around $500 for gas, motels/food on the way there and back, and park passes (since my brother covers the room with his DVC points). It will be a while until I can save that much again.

How do you get to do test drives??

Thanks

Merryl

WOW - you guys are good! I don't keep track of mine, but I think I might start doing that. Do you have any special way you keep track of everything you earn?

I keep mine in an Excel spreadsheet along with my budgets for WDW.

How did you get all the "free" stuff shoppie?

Thanks AdventureKat! I already have an Excel spreadsheet for my household budget. I think maybe I'll add a column for rewards earned & try to start keeping track that way.

AdventureKat:

I joined it pays to learn and signed up for a few of their offers. Like Great fun you get like $4.00 & 90 day trial & the walkie talkies. and yep they do send the promised gift. I am only waiting for the CD player - If it does show who cares, I still got paid for signing up..

try it: www.itpaystolearn.com

I used my paypal debit card so they couldn't charge me "on accident"

AdventureKat- Did you get your RC GC through MyPoints? If so- when did you request it/ does it have an expiration?
I'll get back with my totals so far- I started last November for out 12/05 trip. It will be interesting to see the totals so far. I've opened a savings acct for any $ to go into.

The ones I got were gift card type. There is no expiration that I can see listed on it. They used to send paper certificates out. Oh, and it was through MyPoints.

Plus, hubby has earned $75 in Olive Garden GC thru a Nextel incentive, we've got enought AMEX reward points for a $50 Home Depot card (I'm waiting a little longer to cash in), and we've got about 65 Disney Dream Reward Dollars from the Disney Visa.

If the Memolink GCs would start rolling in, we'd be doing so great...I think you can use the Wal-Mart GCs for gas a Sam's Club (I've got to check on that). With gas prices so high, I'm trying to focus on Shell, Citgo, etc gift cards. We'll be eating at Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster while on vacation. We don't have a Bahama Breeze near us (plus it's kinda pricey) so I'm really excited about that!!

All I can say is THANK YOU to everybody on the Rewards Board. I never realized that a little (okay, sometimes ALOT) of time could pay off!!

:)

I'm just too lazy to combine the totals..so it looks like alot. :)

Now...if I only had DSL....:)

I don't keep track, but between DH and myself we bring in about $200 - $300 a year on free points and surveys. I shop very little.

If you count all the SouthWest plane tickets and Holiday Inn points DH earns when he travels; he ears about 5 - 7 plane tickets each year, plus a companion pass and enough Holiday Inn points for a week or more of free hotels we do okay. :)

If we had to pay to fly to Orlando from Seattle each time we wouldn't get there as often.

Our trip coming up in September, we will use 4 plane tickets and the companion pass, plus 3 nights at the Crowne Plaza Universal and a dinner at RFC. But that's about it.

Lori

with MyPoints just cashed out for $25 Webbie
PCH just cashed out for a $20 Webbie
still waiting on 2 Webbies from Memolink(keeping fingers & toes crossed)
DH just cashed out for a Webbie @ Memolink(don't know why I torture myself)

AND......
so far in TOTAL personal earnings from the PTC/PTR sites that I do:
$47.68 (that's just one months totals~can't wait to see what I have by December:earseek: )
