What is Young Living?

Anyone know? I was at the bookstore the other day and in the cookbook section/lounge area there was a meeting of about five women discussing Young Living. The book I was looking at was right next to them and while I tried to not be nosy, well I couldn't. One woman was asking how it worked and it was pretty clear she was apprehensive about it while the "leader" was saying "it's not a pyramid scheme…." but went on about how much money people bring in a every month. The other three women were also "consultants" and it seemed like they were ganging up on her trying to draw her in. I wanted to say "Run. If they have to bring more than one person to talk you into this, well that's kind of cult-y"

Anyone know what this is? Yeah, I shouldn't have eavesdrop but I think everyone in that section could hear.

Basically, it's like any other party sales. You get people to become consultants and host parties or do magazine sales.


at least, that's what it appears to be...I'm always leary of whether or not they are just another pyramid scheme!
