What is worth making reservations for??

Okay there are SO SO many thing to make reservations for ahead of time. We are winding down on our 90 day out times, don't even know park hours but would love suggestions on what to book?

Now we are going at a very slow time - I would only like to book things I really need to do or sell out QUICK. We will be going with our soon to be 3yr old (b-day at Disney!!) Here is what I have heard needs reservations - add anything else that you think will be worth it. We will be staying at Old Key West. Thanks!!!

Cinderella Castle breakfast?
Fantasmic Dinner Package?
Liberty Tree Tavern?
Ice cream social at Epcot?
Illuminations Cruise?

anything at Animal Kingdom to do??

Hi,
here is the link (click here) to disney's site and hours. It looks like August hours are now available but not September however you can save the link for future reference.

I have heard the Cindy's is very difficult to get PS's for especially after the 90 day window has passed. You can still call and see, but I heard somewhere that those PS's sell out about 5 minutes after the 90 day window opens. No joke, we tried a couple of years ago, calling right when the phone lines opened on the 90th day before we wanted our PS and we couldn't get one. If you can't get a PS for CRT and you really want to do the Princess breakfast, you can also do the one at Epcot in the Norway pavilion (Restaurant Akershus). I believe the availability there is much better. You could also "wing it" and try to get into CRT w/out a ressie, which is possible.

I doubt you need to do the Fantasmic Dinner pkg for the time frame you are going. Unless you wanted to eat at one of the restaurants offered anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.

We have gone in September a number of times now and have never really worried about making ressies. It's never really been a problem.

will be staying for 11 days so I still have about 6-7 days left to try exactly 90 days out. I didn't want to go the first couple days thinking it would be something exciting half way thru our trip to look forward to. My husband and I both will be calling first thing each morning from here on out. If we don't get it - it is no big deal. There is plenty else to do!

I am excited going in Sept. No lines was my biggest issue - no 3 yr old understands how you have to wait 60min to get on a 1 minute dumbo ride - LOL!

I probably will skip Fantasmic Dinner. We have a villa so we are going to try and cook as much as possible to save money. We will be doing the show though!

Illuminations Cruises are very hard to get too. We called every morning and didn't get it until the four or fifth morning. I think there are only about 4 boats available.

I would make a priority seating for anything with characters. I want to eat when I want. If you wait too long to make the seating, fewer times are available to you. I also try to avoid peak seating times, so that I can avoid the long wait. I've only been to Disney in the slow seasons (May and November-not Thanksgiving), and while there are times when the seating wasn't neccesary, there were definately times I was glad I had them.

I was shocked and amazed at how absolutely fabulous the food was at the Crystal Palace - I would have gone here hundreds of times prior if I had known. It was great character meal for lunch and dinner - and at dinner thay will allow you to go outside their doors to your own private area to watch the fireworks and then return to finish dinner. This is definately worth getting a PS for. They book up, but not fast, but they will that day and you will nto be able to walk up and get in.

I love HDDR too and I second Donald's.
