Subject line says it all, I guess. I can't figure out if it is a walk thru display, a film, or a ride. Do elementary age kids like it? My daughter read a biography of Walt so I guess she would like it????

One Man's Dream is a wonderful experience. The first part of this "attraction" is a walk through tour of displays, some of Walt's personal belongings, early models of the parks, etc. The second part is a film about the life of Walt. In my ignorance before experiencing One Man's Dream, it sounded kind of dull to me (I am ashamed to admit this now), but as we were sitting through the film, I found myself teary eyed. You should definitely see it.

It is a tribute to Walt Disney, walk-through exhibit plus film. I believe that some of the footage in the film is "never-before-seen". If it doesn't bring tears to your eyes then you are a tough audience.

The exhibit was originally scheduled to close in February with the end of the 100 Years of Magic celebration, but there were enough requests to keep it open that it has been extended; I believe until 2005, but I can't promise that so don't miss it!

My kids saw this last summer. They were 11,9,7, and 4 at the time. The older three really enjoyed it. The little one was okay with it too. They have some scale models of some of the parks and we all really liked them. I think it is good for kids (everyone really) to see that Walt Disney was a real person, from humble beginnings, who worked hard to bring his dreams to life. The film was great! I say, don't miss this no matter what age you kids are. It is a great place to slow down and reflect on Walt's legacy!!!

This is my favorite "new attraction" in years. We've seen the movie once, that was enough for us. But the exhibits are pure Disney. Especially the scale models of all the castles, all the scale models in fact. We just love it. Almost never a "line" if you're not waiting for the movie, and it's air conditioned. A great walk through the past!
