Barbie and the pooping dog?!:scared1: That is just wrong on so many levels! Everytime I see that commercial I cannot believe it is actually a toy! I also remember at Christmas time DH and I were toy shopping and he found a toy where it is a large bear that pretty much eats some smaller animal!:confused3 I just don't get it. What about you?

We celebrated 2 birthdays at our home in November--Our DD5 and my DHs best friends DD

Well one of her gifts was the pooping dog.

The poop is also the food so it goes in one end and comes out the other--it is magnetized and has a little pooper scooper to pick it up.

We were laughing our heads off over it but that is what she wanted!

You know what is scarier than that? THE PEEING CAT!! We have both the pooping dog AND the peeing cat.:scared1:

So in actuallity it is really a poop eating dog!:scared: No wonder why I am not a fan of dogs licking me!

The only thing that I find weird is that it eats its poop, in one end, out the other!

...mind you, some dogs do, don't they! :scared:

Yeah you gotta watch out for that tongue!!

The girls did get a kick out of the toy though--maybe in some weird Barbie way it teaches what it means to own a dog--you know, they eat their poop, you have to feed them and clean up after them.

Lets see if they come out with one that licks itself!

I read about this somewhere and thought it was the strangest thing for a Barbie! LOL I remember when my daughter was about 5, she received a Barbie for her birthday, but it was the pregnant Barbie with the removable stomach and the little baby inside. Creepy!

I remeber those! The first time I saw it was at FAO Schwartz in the city. I also thought it was a bit creepy.

We have one of them poopin' barbie dogs too! The funniest thing happened yesterday though. I do home daycare and one of my daycare kids go "Look, a brown tic tac":rotfl: I said "um, no it's a toy...not candy" I didn't want to tell him it was pretend dog poop/food with his mom standing there! It would have taken to long and they were headed out the door.

:lmao: Omg, that is too funny...sorry, but a brown tic tac...that is cute!:rotfl:

I hate any toy with small parts that can be stepped on in the dark so that it causes you to lurch into the wall and injure your foot (happened to me last night, why do you ask? )...doesn't matter if it's toy poop or something else.

But as far the toy itself goes, yeah, it's kinda weird. We teach our kids when they're in diapers that "poop is not a toy...leave it IN your diaper until I'm ready to take it out" and now there's a pooping toy. :confused3

My dd has one of those. I think it's cute.

I was shocked when I saw the commercial for this toy. I kept saying what a stupid toy!!! My ds, who is 12, laughed until he was in tears. Thank goodness I have a boy :lmao:
