What is up with the Haunted Mansion?

Ok is this a new feature or has it always been there?

I was just in the mansion trying to get 30 ghosts for quest. The game is frozen and I am trying to move. A window pops up and says "you will be booted from the game if you do not move in 9 seconds" then as I was trying to move I get booted back to the lobby then VMK crashed on me.

What's up with that? Must be everybody trying to do the surprise quest, I guess, but has that warning always been there?

I don't think it's you. The whole game has gotten very slow. I wonder if it's because there are almost 6,000 people on. Nearly lost on pirates because of the delay as well.

The warning about the mansion been there, I've gotten it a couple times. Usually when the phone rings and then I start talking and forget about vmk.

yeah the warning has always been there. It's probably running really slow because of the combination of two quests that require it going at once.

And they decided to end the quest now, right as I get out of the mansion. After who knows how long we waited to just get in! It was fun for there to be a suprise quest, but I guess it was a little too good to be true. Anyways, thanks vmk staff I know you are making your best efforts, but how about if we start the quest, letting us finish within a reasonable amount of time, say that day. I mean, if I knew it was going to end before I could finish, I wouldn't have wasted the time.

I had that happen to me one time in mansion, it was a while ago though. I would guess its just from the general lag in the game now.

And speaking of haunted mansion... The new arrangement of the coffins in some of the levels is driving me nuts!! I don't like the way they put side by side coffins. Almost every time a pink and green ghost come out at the same time, and unless you're playing with a good quick player you spend more time being a ghost than catching them! Its so much harder to avoid the opposite color now. Anyone else having these issues or is just me? Maybe I just need to get used to it.

yep, and earlier it was nearly impossible to START a game..the lobby was constantly full and it wouldn't let you open a game
