What is up with people posting colors on Facebook?

I really messed up. I was on my DH's facebook account and saw everybody posting colors. So I posted Green. Boy, is my face red.

Well, you could just run out and buy a green bra, then you'll be fine

I got my first round of e-mails yesterday. I posted my color, but no one else was. Today, that's all they're doing! There have been some funny ones. Especially the athletic director of my kids' old school in Chicago. His status was periwinkle!!

What is up with people posting colors on Facebook?

Does it mean something or are people just doing what everyone else is doing?

I've just been answering the guys with "google it".

We've been doing it for a couple of days now & the guys are having fun now that they know what it is. We've gotten some funny replies from them.

We spread the message by chat & private messages.

I did something similair my aunt posted white so I commented orange she must think I'm a freak.

I'm glad I saw this thread as I was wondering what the Facebook posts were all about too. I was waiting for my daughter to finally wake up so I could ask her. I know she posted a color so I figured she must know what was going on.

Yesterday morning, before I saw any other colors cropping up in the status updates, our Church pastor posted Crimson! in honor the Alabama game last night.

He was getting ragged so hard about it, he was totally out of the loop, the comments on his page were going way over his head. It was fun to confuse him!

Boy, he picked the right day to do that simple post!! LOL
