What is up with Garth Brooks?

I just saw him on "Good Morning America", and he seems a bit nuts to me. Don't get me wrong, I love love love his music. I wish he didn't retire and was still touring. But he seems to have gotten a little weird.

Just wanted to tell you that my dad heard (for the life of me I can't remember where right now) that Garth Brooks is coming out of retirement. And that kind of makes sense with all the appearances he has been doing.

As for him acting weird, well I guess if I had that much money I would probably act however I wanted

There was suppose to be a movie that came out with that whole thing of "Chris Gaines" The movie studio gave the go ahead to release the cd and then decided not to release the movie.

Garth has all ways been a little out there. I think that's just the way he is.

He claimed that all the Chris Gaines stuff was supposed to go along with a movie. He did all the music, etc., but the studio decided to drop the project. Too much money had been invested by the record company, so he was forced to release the CD.

As for him being weird, that's nothing new. It seems like he went a little off the deep end there towards the end of his career. I can't see him fully coming out of retirement until his girls are grown, though. Once that happens I bet he'll be back in a heartbeat. Performing seems to be in his blood, and I can't see him staying out of it forever.

He's released his second boxed set exclusively through WalMart, and that's a big reason why he's doing so much TV stuff lately.

I did like him until he he left his wife and kids for trisha yearwood. I noticed when he got together with her, they both got very chubby! and then their careers got very quiet. guess this is his way of making a comeback.

I LOVED LOVE LOVED Garth Brooks
I saw him 5 times during his last tour - 12th and 4th rows - got a picture taken with his mom.
I have a 20x somthing pic of him from the concert in my room

I understodd when he 'retired' it was BECAUSE he knew he was getting divorced and wanted to be with his kids - also his mom was really sick and has since died,
him and Sandy (x) live on the same property basically - acres and acres between the houses...
He has been doing the soccer dad stuff...

I don't mind that he is with Trisha - I don't hate her...
BUT I don't like the come back -
there is NO WAY he can come back and be what he use to be...
there was a downslide in the lyrics and the music from the height of his career to the Chris Gaines crap (which really wasn't a horid CD if you didn't know that is was Garth - kwim?)
