It's not a ride even though the sign says Twister: Ride it out
You stand up in a room and watch a simulated twister done with a wind tunnel and fog. It has rain and lightning, things start on fire, and a cow flies.
I thought Twister was scary (and I'm 25.) Many children left the last "scene" crying (and screaming.) There were cast members standing outside the exit with stuffed animals trying to calm down terrified children. I would not recommend it for children under 10. I told DH (who wasn't that impressed) that we were NEVER going to Kansas (no offenses.)
I agree with the majority of the posters. Once you've riden it once, you will never need to ride it again. I found myself completely omitting this one the last time and I don't regret it at all.

We really liked Twister- and my 2 DS's, ages 6 and 7, also really liked it. We did travel there with another family, and their DD, age 7 would not go in.
A WORD OF CAUTION: If you stand in the back, tons of water will come pouring out from the top of the back wall! We had no idea this was going to happen and actually stood back there because we were freezing and sick of getting wet. There was an elderly woman next to us practically in tears from being so wet. We also all had backpacks on and they were drenched! I also think that it was scary.
