What is this?

If anyone watched the travel channel's show about the WL, they saw a saloon at MK (Frontierland) that had someone on stage and people drinking soda and eating popcorn. I have been to disney many times and I have no idea what this place is. Has anyone been there and can tell me more.

Sounds like the Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree to me. I've never been inside, but I do know that a few years ago they served lunch there, and then they switched to just snack foods. I think there is a comedy show sort of based on a wild west saloon.

I don't think it is there anymore. Heard it was a meet and greet area for some of the characters, I thought?

That is indeed the Diamond Horsehoe.

However: when we dropped by there last week, the place was nothing more than a character meet-and-greet with Woody and some of the characters from Toy Story. They no longer perform the show there. (Though they often stage a Christmas review there during the holiday season.)

Yes, it was the Diamond Horse Shoe. It's been closed for several years, but it used to be a lot of fun - saloon girls dancing the can-can, a comedian and snacks. My parents used to love the place when we were younger (as well as us kids). Unfortunately, it's gone.

Thanks everyone, it sounds like a shame they closed it. It sure sounded like a nice place to relax from the heat. Oh well.
