What is this new Disney movie "The Wild?"

Saw a poster at the movies Sunday for a new Disney movie called "The Wild" - I'd never heard of it before I saw the poster and I did a search here, but didn't find a reference to it at all.

The poster immediately makes you think of Madagascar and from what little I've found about the movie, the story is even like Madagascar. Apparently a New York City lion escapes and goes to Africa and then his other New York City animal friends leave New York to try and bring him back.

What is up with that....

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the previews. We saw the trailer when we went to see Curious George yesterday.
