What is this "Bounceback" I have heard about?

I have seen something called a "Bounceback" in many posts, but have no idea what it is. Can anyone fill me in?

It was a deal they had for a while that gave free dining if you rebooked your next trip before you left WDW on your current trip. I'm not sure of the particulars though.

If you booked (and placed a $200 deposit) on your September 2008 vacation WHILE ON your Sept 2007 vacation, you will receive free dining for 2008. We absolutely took advantage of this offer since we go in Sept every year.
