What is the worst rebrand a product has gone through?

Gap – They introduced a new logo with a small blue square and bland font, replacing its iconic blue box logo. The backlash was so intense that the rebrand was scrapped in just six days.

Also, Pizza Hut to "The Hut". That was walked back pretty quickly as well.

Apparently there was a short-lived Marathon bar in the us in the 70's, but it was different - still from Mars though.
It lasted 8 years and as stated it was different. Am I the only one who remembers the commercials? No body eats a Marathon Bar quick Carl. I loved them

The Marathon bar I remember in the US was nothing at all like a Snickers bar, not even close.

I loved marathon bars and I do remember the commercials. I think in the u.k. they still make it or something very similar but call it 'curly wurly'.

That's the one I remember. I liked it back then. Even if they had it now, probably wouldn't. I can't think of a single regular candy bar routinely sold these days that doesn't have yucky chocolate.
