What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

Howard the Duck
It was just so wrong. I can't even begin to describe how wrong it is except to say: love scene with Lea Thompson and the DUCK!! That's wrong wrong wrong on sooo many levels!!!!
o.O

I absolutely hated the Fifth Element. My DH loved it though. Must be a guy thing. I remember leaving during the movie to go to the bathroom (just to get a break from this movie) and I wound up wandering around the lobby looking at movie posters. When I returned, DH didn't even realize I left.

Wing Commander -- just flat out AWFUL on every level
Pret-a-Porter -- bored me to tears
The English Patient -- ditto

And I know it is a "classic" but Dr. Zhivago. This movie made me MAD. I was expecting this Great Love Story and I thought he was a jerk and she was a twit. Nothing redeeming about either and I found myself HAPPY they never got their happy ending. What got me is that my PARENTS had told me what a great movie it was. They got an earful from ME when it was over.:lmao:

Pulp Fiction-Pure filth
Magnolia=worst $1.00 I ever paid to see a movie in a theatre--It was bargain nite.

Wow, I disagree with a lot of you, but that is what message boards are for, I suppose.

I hated Grease 2 and someone owes me two hours of my life back because of it.

The only movie I actually walked out on in the theater was Revenge with Kevin Costner.

I tried watching The English Patient with my DD once it was out on DVD. We both decided after 45 minutes that we just could not finish the film. We had no idea why it was so well liked by critics and the general public. To us it was way too boring and we have a very high tolerance for boring films. We love the arsty, foreign and subtitled films usually.

I assume you mean the worst movie ever, but popular, right? I mean there are so many BAD movies. For me, it was the award winning movie, 'The Deer Hunter'.

Wisdom-wasn't that Emilio Estevez or Chrarlie Sheen. I'll never see those two hours again.
And Dumb and Dumber. I'm from RI and I still don't get the Farrelly brothers.

Well, sure, but only to some degree.... I mean like it should have been on TV or in a theater, not just staright to DVD, or something of that nature.

The Telephone with Whoopi Goldberg. I went because my then roommate was a big Whoopi fan. She was the one who finally suggested we leave about halfway through.

The WORST movie IMO that I have ever watched was Four Weddings and A Funeral- we all joked that it was like sitting through a funeral!

I didn't hate that movie, but I almost didn't watch it because of teh first few minutes. It was quite a turnoff to me.

Eyes Wide Shut! Longest two and a half hours of my life. Went with friends of ours, and we all looked at each other after the movie was over with a "what the hell was that about" look on our faces. We still laugh about it to this day.

Shark Boy and Lava Girl...followed by Super Baby Geniuses 2...the sacrifices I make as a mother.

Me Myself and Irene. The only movie I have actually walked out of.
