Rita used to post a bunch on the R.A.D.P., an unmoderated Disney newsgroup and when the whole Howie's Angels thing started some people on that newsgroup didn't like it and that started a big controversy on the group and it got really nasty. Some hoodlums on the group were somehow able to track her through her i.p. address and got hold of her personal e-mail adress and personal info and sent some very vulgar and threatening e-mails to her, trying to intimidate her into stopping the whole Howie's Angels program. She somewhat understandbly got very paranoid about who was trying to access her website and their motives in doing so (thus the FBI threats). It's a shame it all got out of hand over an argument over trying to obtain breakfast res. for little girls and their families; she really seemed to be a very nice lady who tried to help people get the most out of their wdw vacations, I really liked her book. Next time you think the moderators here step in too soon to close a thread, keep in mind what the flip side is, it can really get nasty and vulgar in an unmoderated setting.
