What is the weather like in Jan at DL?

Being from the east and NEVER having visited California I was wondering what the weather is like in January, specifically at DL? The cold doesn't bother me (I live in the Poconos in PA) but it does bother my Mom but she can't take too much heat either (has a bad heart). I usually take her to WDW during Jan or Dec. and now that we have been there together twice I would like to go to DL and was wondering if Jan. is a good time to go? TIA

My in-laws have gone to DL in early-mid Jan for the past couple of years. 2 years ago it was raining the whole time. Of course that did not stop anyone. Last year no rain so I think it wise to bring a poncho and other rain gear in case.

it could be 60 and raining or 90 and sunny, no way to tell untill you get here. If you get lucky it will be sunny and 75.
