I am taking my 5yo son on a trip to Disney in March 2005. I want this to be a wonderful vacation for him!!! What do you think would be the ultimate restuarant for a child of his age to dine at? He likes the characters and is not a real picky eater. I would love any advise that you could give me!!!

Thanks,

Kaycee took the words right out of my mouth.

Chef Mickeys- the napkin dance is our favorite.

I agree with Sci-Fi at MGM, especially if he's into cars like my nephew. Very cool atmosphere, and good food for kids.

Also agree with Chef Mickey's- I went there when I was 4 and I still remember meeting Mickey! Haven't been there recently, but the newest article in the Disney Magazine mentions the great options for kids, such as PB&J pizza for breakfast.

Any character meal would be great. CM is a fine choice as well as donalds at AK for breakfast. He might also like Sci-fi at MGM as you eat in cars while you watch old movies, Rain-forest cafe, whispering Canyon Cafe( lots of loud fun), or ohanna's for the coconut races and other games. Most all resturants are child friendly, so rest assured he will be welcome anywhere.

Chef Mickey's if he likes Mickey best. Crystal Palace if he is a huge Pooh fan. But, like the above poster stated -- any character meal would be great.:earsboy:

Chef Mickeys!! My ds is still blown away by it and he is turning 13 and we go there every year. Great atmosphere, great location (monorail) and great food!! It was so crowded we had to take an 8:30 pm ps for dinner in april as that was all that was open. Its on our list every time. I usually try to make it the first night tradition.

Thanks everyone for your advice!! I am trying to make this trip very special for my son. He was just diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, so I don't know how ofter we will be coming back to WDW. We will certainly try Chef Mickey's::MickeyMo

Thanks,

I agree that Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and Donald's Breakfast are all great choices. We have done them all with my 2 boys and they loved them all! Have Fun!
