What is the typical cab fare cost?

for one way from pop to Wl or Poly for example. We got a free quick service dining pin but are considering upgrading to regular dining plan. The places I really want to try are at the other resorts. Do you know how much the typical cab fare costs for one way from POP to other resorts such as WL or Poly? And do they just have cabs waiting for you pretty much any time of the day at POP? If we need to call ahead how convenient is it? Can they get there in pretty short of time to POP? Thanks

Taxis are waiting at all of the resorts, just ask the concierge to get one for you. You can look up fares here.

Taxis are readily available at all parks & resorts. Figure on $20 anywhere on property, and then if it's a little less, you'll be happily surprised. The last few cabs we took from resort to resort were $15-$18 plus tip. Now if you go to a resort right next door in a cab, it will be less.

I am thinking 3 or 4 cab trips would be cheaper than getting a rental car for the week. I would rather put back around 80-100 for cab fares then pay 300 for a rental car. I am just nervous about using disney transportation solely to get back and forth to different adrs and also on our downtown disney night. I think we might take the bus to downtown disney but when we are ready to leave we will definitely take a cab due to all the horror stories I read on here about dtd buses.

I agree as we are only 4 nights & eating at a few resorts even though we r for of us it still might be less expensive then a rental!!
