Because of all the promotional work Judy and I had done to get rid of Journey Into Your Imagination, on the day (June 1, 2002) they opened the current version one of the senior Imagineers gave us a special pin that was only given to cast who worked on the conversion. (PinPics 17900)

Mine's definitely the pin I got when I won Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer on the Disney Cruise Line. I was almost as excited about the pin as I was the free cruise!

Pin 78776: Original Disneyland Cast Badge with Name

Came in response to a want ad I had put up on my website. This is one of only 5 known to still exist.

one of my prize ones
is a minnie and mickey as philip and arora dancing on a cloud pin
that i got from a cast member out side the movie ride at disney world at mgm.
its just one of my fave and the cast member was really sweet.
and i can't remember what i traded for it.
but the reason it is special is because as i was entering the ride i had said fourth time on this ride today and he asked me if i wanted to trade one of my cheap pins for this one and i was like sure why not.

Mine was actually not from a cast member, but from my mom. My parents went to Disney a few weeks after we took our DD for the first time. When we came home, she saw the fun we had trading pins with our DD while we were there. She came home and had pin number 15331, Mickey shaking hands with a firefighter. My mom knows how much firefighting means to me, and found the perfect pin. In all honesty, I have probably gotten 7/8 more of the same one since then. All our friends seem to find it also, but I have never found it for myself.

My second thing was a Year of a Million Dreams lanyard. My mom had this find also. She had purchased a box of stuff at a yard sale. Most of it was costume jewelry. In the bottom of the box, was a YOAMD lanyard with the pins on it, STILL IN THE PACKAGE! She wanted me to use it the last time we went, but I am keeping in the package.

I have one heck of a mom, dont I?
