Mary Jo said:I was there on Thursday for awhile & Friday, and it was pretty crowded. I don't know if there will really be a "slow season" this year. Disneyland has been steadily busy since the 50th kick-off.
So while I was pointing out the Proud Bird and then having everyone wave as we passed your corner - you were most likely at the park huh?
We followed your great directions from LAX Thurs. It was so nice to have all the detailed car pool info.
THANK YOU!

Anyway, we have taken a DL trip in October almost every year for the past 15 years. We just got back from a long weekend 10/20 - 23. While I have seen worse DL crowds, I've never seen anything like the crowds the past few days on ANY of our Oct trips before!
I think I'm with Dale-n-Chip for the most part... except I would maybe plan for it to be only SLIGHTLY less crowded than some of the peak times and then if it ends up being "a whale of a lot less crowded" that will just be a bonus for you!

I knew going in that we'd see lots of AZ and Utah folks because of fall breaks and UEA. I think being prepared for the possibilty of large crowds is key. I had already told the kids it WOULD be crowded and they each had their list of 1 or 2 must-do's since we knew we wouldn't be able to do everything.
I personally have to work a lot harder to find the magic when the park is so crowded - but it's still possible.
