I was thinking instead of buying a stroller for my six year old, about renting one.

She weighs about 40-47lbs give or take. She needs the room and the ability to mellow out and be in her own space. Like this...

I would say your average 6 year old could fit in a WDW single stroller, but if you felt she needed more space than that, you could rent a double. Here are photos of both, from All Ears:

as you can see, the double is basically just a wider single, so she could spread out in it. do be aware, however, that if you plan to get a GAC to allow you to take the stroller through lines, the double one might be a bit too big to take the tight turns.

HTH! :thumbsup2

Last time we went to Disney my DD :cool1: ( she requested I put that there!)was 6 and she is very tall!! I rented, over the course of vacation, a double and a single stroller. I stuck with the double because it gave her some room and well lets face it there was the time her 8 year old brother squeezed in with her. And I do mean squeezed. If I knew how to post a picture I would. Sorry!

I would highly suggest the double for you but if she doesn't like anyone to look at her then you may need more than one blanket since it does have mesh on the sides and back of the canopy.
