The plane tickets are booked and we are officially planning our first trip to DLP :cheer2:

We will be in Paris next March and I've read that it rains a lot. I'm hoping that someone can tell me what kind of rain to expect.

Will it be a misty, humid fog that hangs around all day?

Will it be a slight drizzle for most of the day?

Or will it pour buckets for an hour or two each afternoon (like the rain at WDW)?

where do you live? I can't say the Parisien rain is much different to the rain we get in the parts of the UK I've lived in. Sometimes its drizzly and lasts for hours, its very unlikely to be humid rain in March, but it could be a heavy shower, or maybe a short thunderstorm kind of rain.

Similarly, it might not rain at all.

I live in Hawaii where we have showers in the morning, the occasional downpour, and moderate to high humidity. :beach:

We like to travel in cold, preferably freezing, weather. I guess we want what we don't have :)

It sounds like we'll have to prepared for various types of weather, but at least I will finally have a good reason to buy some cute rain boots!

We have been in March for past 2 years and it was completely different. Last year a went early march and it was freezing and rained every day for a few hours at a time. This year we went later in march and it was still freezing but it didn't rain at all well actually it rained during the night but not a drop in the day time. Whatever the weather you will have a fantastic time just go prepared for cold weather, plenty of layers, hats, gloves etc weeks you will be fine :)

I've been to Paris in March 3 times in the past 6 years and it's been freezing cold/bright and dry/sunny with a few showers! Like kel0709 says, layers are the way to go!

Think Paris at that time of the year is just "the luck of the draw"!

We've been twice, both times at the back end of April. The first visit it was red hot, literally shorts and t-shirt weather, I got some right colour!

The more recent visit however, was freezing! And we weren't dressed for the occasion! Still a great time regardless....!

We've had a few March trips and only once had a rain, we've also had snow and had we not cancelled out March trip this year would've had it again and beautiful warm sunny days and cold sunny days.

March is tempermental :confused3

Thank you all so much for your replies! It's great to get first hand information from people who have visited the park in March.
