2 grandchildren ( 3mos and 2 yrs 3 months) now that I am planning a trip to Disney...the timing depends on the official rule of ages....

Do they say 3 and under (or is it under 3) and if so do I have to pay for him if we go say a few weeks before his 4th birthday?

Thanks for info in advance.

Cant wait to take them to Disney. He is absolutely in love with Jake and the Neverland Pirates and everything on Disney Channel

It is under 3. Once they are 3 you pay for them, and you have to count them in your room. Actually, you only get 1 free child under the age of 3 in your room to begin with. If you have 2 kids both under the age of 3 only one of them doesn't count.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #9, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

UNDER three is free. But, if the kiddo turns three DURING your vacation, they are still considered to be "under three" for the entire vacation!

Are you sure this is accurate? This doesn't seem right to me...We stayed at the Poly (myself, DD, and her three kids) and there was no extra charge for any of the kids, and we only had to buy a ticket for the one who was 4. The 2 year old and the baby went in to the park for free.

They are talking about room capacity.

For example the room has two double beds it would hold 4 people plus one under 3. They would not allow 5 adults. But you could not have 2 adults, 10, 8 and 3 year old or two adults, 10 year old and triplets (18 months)

Under three, so you will need to buy a ticket for all kids three and older.

It is such a great age for Disney. Have a fun trip.

Admission tickets and room capacity work differently. None of the 2yo's need tickets.
