What is the new fence for?

We recently noticed a new fence going in between the 300 and 1500 loops. It almost looks like a pen for animals. Any idea what it's for?

We saw them constructing it one day while we were there. When we went by in the morning they had a few posts up and later that afternoon the fence was up and it looked like they were done with it. They did a great job. Looks like they used no climb fence which will keep the smallest of dogs from getting through. I'm kinda wondering how they are gonna keep it clean though.

They installed it around Gatordad's future campsite. Its to keep animals and small children from getting too close.

The same way they keep the pet loops clean - by relying on the owners to pick up the poop after their pets. And we all know how well that works.

We just returned from the 300 loop and saw the construction going on before the week end and just assumed they were expanding the playground area. I had read here on the Dis that a dog park coming to the Fort and glad to see it is adjacent to our favorite pet loop.

I agree with ftwildernessguy, not every pet owner is a responsible pet owner.

The collars did come as a matching set. But he won out and bought the last pair of buttless chaps before I could. You should see him perform with the Village People.

All chaps are buttless...otherwise they are leather pants dear lol...I got a giggle from that one...as a lady biker who owns chaps myself I really loved that one...Cheers...DJ
