Am I crazy or did I see a counter service restaurant to the right of Liberty Tree called something like Diamond Horseshoe Saloon? I read the menu and they served sandwiches, etc. I can't seem to find any information about it on the menu websites and I recommended it to a friend b/c it had looked good but we hadn't had a chance to get there. Thanks for your help!

I think I read that it is an additional temporary location while Pecos Bill's is closed for refurb. Someone else may have more insight.

It is not generally used as a restaurant anymore, but gets pulled into service during high traffic times, during free dining, and right now while Pecos Bill is being refurbished.

Oh well, that's a shame......it looked good and I wanted to try it next time. Thanks for getting back to me!

Back in the day, The Diamond Horseshoe Revue used to have a "saloon" with some food options and a show. Can-Can dancers from what I can remember.

Now, it is only open on an as needed basis and is otherwise used for character staging I believe.

I always thought it would make for a great character meal location aimed at little boys (perish the thought, right?). Maybe Cowboys or Woodys roundup gang.

they had it open last September during free dining -- was just serving the same food as Liberty Tree Tavern, but no characters. I went in just to look around...it's really cool looking in there. Would love for them to open it back up as a regular dinner place...MK could use another table service restaurant.
