What is the most $ you would spend?

for me what would bother me is that i could stay in a moderate hotel for 10 or 11 days with tickets and skip the delux club level and have more time at disney for the same price... fyi AKL is not too close to anything but animal kingdom the bus ride takes at least 30 minutes to MK.. i found that annoying when we stayed there (on dvc points), also i didn't much like the parking situation there just werent enough spaces. they should bring back free valet for DVC memebers at AKL because it is impossible to find a parking space!

No need for the snide remark and the eye rolling. I understand the offerings were meant to be a snack but a PP mentioned that CL offered so much food that the dining plan is not necessary. That is no longer true.

i guess it depends on how much food you want. i never get the dining plan because it seems like so much more food at each meal than i would ever want, even without the concierge. we have 2 groups friends that stayed at another resort with concierge recently and said it was definitely a great supplement to their eating (ie. would grab a coffee and something small for breakfast) and never needed other snacks because of all of the great snacks that were put out. one friend did say that people would grab a ton of drinks and bring them back to their room, which she thought was so wrong, so i don't think she was abusing the system. i said op might want to reconsider doing both because it would be a lot of food from my perspective. we usually only do one big meal a day and then might split a counter service. we usually do breakfast in the room before leaving. just something to think about if you are looking to lower your budget! :)

I'm budgeting $2600 for our trip next May, and that's as much as I can pay right now. I'd love to stay in Moderate or Deluxe resort some day, but for now it's either Value or we don't go. I'd rather go & stay at POP than not be able to go!

I did look into renting DVC points, since my parents & MIL are going as well, but even at $10/point (which seems to be the low end of what people ask) 3 rooms at POP is cheaper. Plus, in a DVC 2-bedroom either my parents or MIL would have to sleep on a sofa bed, which none of them would enjoy especially at that price.
