We seem to have a foot fetish going on tonight, so I thought I'd combine that with an old thread that asked the most you paid for a purse.

What is the most you have ever paid for a pair of shoes or boots? I think I paid about $100 for a pair of Harley Davidison riding boots once, but that was a fluke. And since my boys were born, I have gone up a whole shoe size so I can't even wear them anymore.. I normally pay around $30. I don't really like shoes anyway......and barefoot is free!::yes::

I paid $80.00 for a pair of sneakers once. Now I just buy Sketchers and they run about $39.95
I much rather go barefoot though. ::yes::

Probably around $100 for some really good winter boots :)

$250 for a pair of Ferragamo that I absolutely love to death (the shoes, not me)

like 120 bucks back in high school. But lately I haven't paid anything over 60

Geez, Kyle, where did you go to high school, 90210? ;) :teeth:

My sister paid about $200 for a pair of shoes for my birthday two years ago. They are great shoes and I love them!

paid 275 for a pair of tony lama cowboy boots during my rodeo days, but learned better since:)

Something like $280 for a pair of boots. But I still remember my first pair of shoes over $100. I still have it. :)

Probably around $70 and that was back in my single, working, and still living at home days :D . Lately, around $40 for my Sketchers. I usually spend $20 or less.

I have a pair of Italian Leather Mickey Shoes that cost 150

If I told you, I'd have to kill you.

(I only keep one secret from my husband of 17 years, and thats how much I spend on shoes. If I can't tell him, I can't tell you. :p )

Is this like the "How much did you spend on a purse thread?" That one came back to haunt me LOL

I think I will just say way 2 much but I still wear them after 5 years

$325.00 for a pair of Italian leather shoes and $295.00 for a pair of Dan Post cowboy boots during my horse show circuit days.

hmmmmmm wouldn't that be 2 secrets..the other involving disappearing hats

$235.00 x 2 for 2 pair Paul Green shoes. LOVE them so much I needed them in both brown and black.

Well, for my wedding shoes, I think I paid $120 for a pair of gorgeous Kenneth Cole shoes. By the end of the day, my feet were killing me but it was worth it! :teeth:

I used to show horses and my riding boots were easily $300 but I still have them after 15 or 20 years so I think I got my money's worth.

For regular, every day shoes, I usually go to Famous Footware or Kohl's and don't pay more than $30 or $40.

I am a total shoe nut, so I have tons of them (71 pairs at last count)...the less I spend per pair, the more pairs I get. I have big feet, so I usually hit end of season clearance sales and still get a good selection. For trendy shoes, I refuse to pay over $30, because they will go out of style too fast.

The most I've ever spent was $169 on a pair of BCBG shoes...strappy stiletto sandals with a bow. They kill my feet, but DH loves them.

this is a dangerous question. I think I have spent $175 on a pair of shoes before....I do have a few $100 pairs of sandals. (I live in Phoenix, its all we wear)

I spent $375 on my wedding shoes. They were Peter Fox, and they were really comfortable. On everyday shoes the most I spent I think was 150 for a pair of high leather boots.
