What is the most you paid for a pair of shoes/boots?

I paid $65 for a nice pair of dress shoes.

(now if you want to count hockey skates, it's around $270)

I think the most I've ever paid for a pair of shoes for myself is probably $50. If that... I'm so cheap eh? I've paid more for my kids shoes (stride rites) and dang- they outgrow theirs! I should spend more on mine! LOL

I'm too thrifty... I go for quality and try to get the bargain price for those... I'm not impulsive when it comes to shoes and I'm not picky.

Now if we were talking purses... that's a whole 'nother ballgame. LOL

I have a few $150 pairs of boots. I love them though and wear them all year around.

$495,00 for a pair of Louis Vuitton pumps!! I have only worn them once and I did not pay for them, my mom did.

A bought a pair of black Prada pumps on sale back when I was working. I think they were around $200. I wore them at least two or three times a week though so I did get a lot of use out of them. I also bought a pair of New Balance walking shoes for $109 that I love and still wear 2 years later.

I paid $120 for my Doc Martins on my 13th birthday. That was 10 years ago and they are still in my closet. I still wear them and besides a small amount of wear and tear, they look pretty good.

So I must say I have gotten my moneys worth on them.

A pair of Jimmy Choo's---------$525!!!

My new obsession has been handbags---was in Rome few weeks ago and had a chance to shop on a street called the via condotti---went into Prada and bought a beautiful blue and leather bag, and a wallet, then went in Louis Vuitton and hubby let me also get the vuitton sontaine bag----I think I am done for a while---however going back to London and Paris in August, so I better start saving now

I mostly pay under $100 for any shoes/sneakers - I know not to ask what DW pays. I recently paid slightly over $100 for new motorcycle boots though.

I paid 125.00 for my Mephisto sandals. That is all I wear though year round, they are sooo comfortable.

I paid $130 for my Josef Seibel's. They are very comfy and I wear them to work everyday. I am on my second pair. When the others wore out I replaced them with the exact same shoe.

You do realize that you can buy Louis and Prada in most major cities usually in sax fifth avenue right??

MY mom and I are having a collection contest. I have 14 bags, the credit card holder, wallet, coin purse, make-up kit and 3 piece luggage set and she has even more!!!

Don't you just love collecting.

Anyone ever ask you if yours is real??

Jealousy is such an evil thing.LOL

I can't pay a lot of money on purses...never my thing. I buy the fake ones or get a good sale. Shoes on the other had...ahh....
I'm great at finding a bargin though. I think the most I ever paid for sandals was about $125.00 for Dansk. Boots on the other had are my down fall...Prada on sale about $225.

Prada and Louis were cheaper by only about $40. And yes I do realize they sell them here in the state. I don,t live in a bubble. However, some of the European styles are different than those in the states.

It was around $250 I think for a pair of Guess boots that I love and still have. Of course I bought them before marriage and children - I never spend that much for shoes now!

$99 for a pair of New Balance sneakers....they are good sneakers but not my favorites...

I've paid $250 for a pair of heels that fit like a glove. I live in mostly Reeboks so they are usually $50 a pair. I regularly pay $150 a pair for my DS for his tennis shoes. He gets 3-4 pair a year of those for his growing feet.

Usually spend about $100+ 2 times a year on my Nike. The only bad part is I can only wear the left shoe.
