I am hoping to save enough money to stay at the WL, but just in case I want to have a Mod lined up for my DD4 and myself. If you could take into consideration theming, walks/wait for buses, food (very picky eater), pool, etc. Thank you for you help :)

POFQ would probably be your best bet since the pool is geared toward toddlers, its a small resort so everything is close.

My granddaughter and grandson loved the pool at the POR - French Quarter with the alligators, etc. and slide!

Another vote for POFQ. The pool there is perfect for little kids -- the water slide is a magic dragon's tongue. Food court selections are good for all ages. Plus, you can take the boat to DTD.

Add another vote for POFQ. We have stayed there 3x and my 3 and 5 yr old love it. The waterslide is very gentle. And my youngest loved the alligators - she had to hug them everyday. Also I loved the fact that the farthest room was still only a short walk away from the bus stop. Our neighbors tried out CBR and were not happy with its size esp when you are towing around little ones. The dining was pretty decent selection if I remember - I know we always found something for the girls.

Easy choice.....POFQ....

Small resort......no far walking to anywhere....

Very nicely themed pool for young children.....great slide
for little kids....(small)
1st on and off the bus.
fun food court.....
have a great trip.

If you only care about what a 4 year old thinks, why not stay at a value.:3dglasses

When DD and DS were 2 and 3, we stayed at POFQ. It was fun for them, but don't think there's not some walking if you get put in one of the farther back buildings.

We just came back from POR and it was a lot of fun, but they are older now. There is a lot to do at POR!

However, I'm with the PP about the values! Kids love them because they are so elaborately themed. If you don't care about a slide, I would certainly choose a value. POP and AS Movies would probably be your best bet. They are over the top for kids!!!

Our kids loved Dixie Landings the best out of all the moderates-still do (now called POR due to the PC nitwits of the world).

They have a really nice themed pool area with a slide and waterfall, and it has beautiful grounds. There are rental boats and a fishing hole.

The only thing Port Orleans has is that dragon slide.

I would gather that your four year old would probably like All Stars Movies best because of the large movie icons they have there. Other than that, I doubt it would matter much to them. CSR has a very nice playground at the main pool area along with a kiddie pool and good snacks at Siestas.

I was also thinking POFQ for it's small size and all the colorful masks and alligators and such around the property. It's not all about what DD would like, but want to find something we'd both enjoy. I just can't get excited about staying at a value. I've looked at Pop a few times but I see the posts about how crowded and noisy it is and that turns me off. DD and I are both pretty quiet and need peace and quiet to sleep. We'll be going a busy time of the year and the parks will be crowded so I'm looking for a place to come home to for a little rest and relaxation. I used to live in Mobile, Alabama and visited NOLA many times so it would be fun for me to stay in POFQ and get that feeling again! How about CBR? I would think the beach theme must be fun for kids? Or is the property too large to navigate for a single parent with a young child?

i voted pofq

my kids were always asking to stay there
