What is the master chef series?

I was on the Magic during Thanksgiving, 2001 and I don't remember anything about the Master Chef Series. Is it new?

And, I do remember Disney telling me they were working on booking Palo reservations ahead of the sailing. Do you know if you can do that now?

The Master Chef series was a menu on our Dec 01 Magic cruise. Personally I hated the menu and just had a steak. I don't think you can book palo ahead of time unless you are a concierge (cat1-3) guest

Master Chef menu is a sampling of favorite dishes from restaurants on Disney properties. I remember having Wolfgang Puck's squash soup, and it was ok, but I don't remember what entree I had. There wasn't much at dinner I didn't enjoy, plus your server can recommend something for you once they become familiar with your food likes/dislikes. Ours was Erasmo from Chile, and he knew I am a chocoholic, so no matter what I ordered for dessert, he'd also bring me the chocolate selection. What a guy!
