What is the longest you ever stayed at WDW????

I am planning at least 10 days at WDW in the future - preferably two weeks....I HAVE A QUESTION - how was it for those people who did extended stays? did it make the trip more relaxing? less rushed? were you able to get all or most of the things you wanted done? would you do longer or shorter stays if you had it to do again.

We've done 10-12 days most times and a couple of 5 days. The longer trips were much more relaxing and less rushed. We've stayed onsite 15 times over the years and never run out of things to do. We definitely will do the longer stays in the future.

We go for 2 weeks every year. which adds up to 13 days on property. Before our trip we make a list of what we want to do, and 2 weeks later we leave and still not get everything done that we wanted.
For our family , the longer trips are more relaxing, we go early, leave, when everyone gets hot or cranky, we leave and go back to OKW and swim/ cool off have lunch and then go back to the parks later in the day. It's hot so we take it easy. We don't push, or wait in long lines because we know we can come back to an attraction later.

Longest was 10 days back in 2001. We normally go for a week but I am hoping to plan a longer trip a few years from now!!!

Our longest was 7 days. It's kinda tough to work around my schedule. One day, we'll get there for at least 10 days.

14 day's is the longest so far but in October we are going for 18 days! all on-site :D

We only get there once a year or so, so we generally stay 10 days. Longest was 11 days.

In answer to a previous question, we love the freedom that the extra time gives us. Also allows you to work around the weather.

We got rained out of Spectro on our first Saturday night a couple of years ago, but got to see it the 2nd week-end. (Since we usually visit in off-season, we always arrive on a Thursday or Friday to be sure we have two Saturday nights during our visit).

We actually spent 22 days on vacation...15 were at WDW 2 at Kennedy Space center and the beach and the rest was the drive down and back from Canada and stopping to see friend in New York State...

Our next trip is 14 days at WDW and we are flying down!!!

Let's see- longset for us has been 9 days- twice 9 days for me. But our next trip is going to be 11 days! I wish we could do longer but it would require more days off work for DH and more days for the kids to be out of school. Seems he can never get vacation time in the summer because everyone ELSE is wanting a vacation that time because their kids are out of school- I'm sure. Well, atleast everyone that has more seniority than he does. LOL

Some day when the kids are grown and out of the house we are going to do that Winter Settler's thing and practically live there for awhile. LOL

Well, if my Disney college program counts, then my longest trip was 6 months, LOL!

Longest "actual" trip: 12 days. :)

We stayed twice at 14 days each. Of course we did other stuff but because we did other stuff we still felt rushed. I would love to rent a house and stay for 4 weeks. Someday...I can dream lol

Eight days. Tentatively planning to do it again June or July, 2005.

Our first and only trip we stayed 10 days at Dixie in 2000. In October, we'll be in FL for 15 days - 8 onsite. Can't wait!!

Last summer we were 8 days at BCV. On the last day my son (then 5) said "Mommy, why didn't you make it 10 days?".

This year:

7 nights Poly Concierge - thank you fairytale package! Doing this with kids DS 6 & DD 5 and my friend who has DD 1 & DS 6

Then with my kids and DH 2 nights All Star Sports - Because I really love my son, finally 5 nights BCV - and it will feel like coming home.

Grand total 15 days/14 nights= Disney Nirvana
Still, wish it could be more.......;)

We stayed 14 days one year. It was the best trip ever, we never rushed any where! It was so relaxing and nice. Wish we could do that every year. Our other trips have been between 8 and 10 days.

I only have one trip under my belt so far, but it was 8 glorious days! Surely not enough. DH just mentioned the other day that maybe we could go again next year and stay longer! Yeah! :bounce:
