What is the longest phone call you have had recently?

I don't remember. Text or email everything now days. Don't even have voicemail setup.

My office was that way until a series of important text messages and emails were missed. Now we are required to call first, then if no answer, we can text and email but if no immediate response to that, we keep calling until we get some type of response. Not having your voicemail setup on your company phone or having your voicemail box full will at the very least get you a stern talking to from the boss.

I was on hold for a little over 4 hours trying to get a refund on international flights when the lockdown first started. After this phone call, it still took 3 months to get the refund.

I have 2 friends that can easily have me on the phone for over an hour.
Yesterday, > an hour with one of them!

I FaceTime with DS about once a week. We have sometimes talked for 3-4 hours, especially since the pandemic.

56 minutes tonight with DD22. It is not unusual to just have her on speaker phone for 2 hours or more as we all go about our business, sometimes talking sometimes not. Especially if she is alone in the apartment.

With DD19 it's more constant conversation. But she has a lot to say so if she has the free time, an hour is possible.

For the first time in a long time I called a friend (she got some bad news so i wanted to check on her). Talked for about 90 minutes. It was so nice.

Work call was 12+ hrs - and a couple times recently 4+ hours with DVC Member Services - but regular calls - maybe max of 30 minutes

Every single time I have to call an insurance company for work I’m on hold for 40+ minutes and get transferred at least 4 times. I think the longes one was 90 minutes.

and patients wonder why I refuse to call their insurance if it is something they can do themselves.
