Can be on Disney or off-site.
Condo, townhouse, house rental, or hotel

RULES:

IF YOU DIDN"T PAY IT DOESN"T COUNT! (ie: My mom paid for the whole amount so it was FREE.)

I am asking about the total cost of the hotel/condo per night. So, if you paid 1/4 of it because you shared with family, that wouldn't count either.

I CAN be a deal.....like the $10/night deal some got on here a few years ago.

Love to see deals people get!!!!!!!

$19.99 in the early 80's. It was the funky looking motel on 192. Looks a bit like a pyramid. They also had free donuts in the am!

About 5 or 6 years ago SkyAuction.com had weeks for $149 with NO additional fees. We bought 5 of them and used them over a 3 year period. Typically you can only use them for 2 years, but they made some computer glitch and we were able to use them spread out over 3 years.

We got 2 bedroom condos for $21.28 per night.

I haven't seen a deal like that before or since. SkyAuction.com condos seem to run $299 plus a $20 processing fee for a week now. More than double. :headache:

I got DTD Hilton for 79.00 a night a few years back only for 1 night as we arrived a day early and only needed it to sleep.

I've stayed years ago at a Days Inn for $24.99. After that I decided all my trips would be on property. :lmao:

My cheapest on property was $59.

One year the government site had Sheraton vistana 2 bedroom for $14 a night. $50 fee. Forgot that one. We used several of the $149 sky auction vouchers too. Orange lake, Sheraton vistana and embassy grand beach three bedrooms.

We don't do hotels anymore. EVER. I kid you not. If we can't get a condo, we don't go.

We were in a luxury hotel in Montreal (Dh's work paid) and it was miserable. And that was a nice hotel.

We just can't all fit well in any hotel room anymore.

This is a cool thread! I like to see the savings and best deals others get as well.

At the Wyndham right near DTD, we got our room for $76.99 a night and that was interior rooms, meaning they were in the actual hotel.

$586 total for 8 nights at an offsite cabin at Tropical Palms Resort off 192 (VERY easy drive to the parks from there). June of 2012.

I paid $11 a night for a motel that was just off site in '99. I think it was a Motel 6 type and the closest motel to the gate on the road we were on, but it has been a while. The room was $36/night adult double occupancy (off season) and I had a coupon for $25 off/night from a motel that was in my home town and the bottom said good at all locations. I carried it with me to DW and they honored it at that location, but they had to call corporate to verify it since no one had ever used one. We stayed 8 nights for $88 plus tax. And back then our DW tickets for that time length were only around $400. We spent $25/day on food average (together not each and that included a meal in King Stefan's Banquet Hall). Our entire trip was less than $800 including gas for the drive. That was for just 2 adults.
ETA: DH said it was a Best Western.

We are looking at $4k for our January trip, family of 4 for 5 days. Since it has been 15 years since we last went I was having a bit of sticker shock. It would be more if I didn't have a discount again.
ETA: We are paying $41/night for ASMu this time due to a F&F discount.

$25/night in early November 2001 at what was the Crowne Plaza (now something else) at DTD. They even gave us the penthouse that overlooked the parks/fireworks at night.

The reason...all parks/hotels were dead from Sept 11. We were planning on staying onsite, but couldn't pass up the crazy rate. We were down for our 1 year anniversary.

Stayed at an Econo Lodge off Idrive for $21/night in 2002. We stayed 6 nights, and at the end we also got another 25% off, because my now Ex husband was Navy and deploying the next week. We also used the military tickets. It was a very nice inexpensive trip.

I got that deal..
I have also stayed at the Comfort Inn (which is now the Clarion) for around $40 and the old Days Inn (which is now the Sheraton) for $25 but the Days Inn was a Friend and Family deal.

Years ago (early 80s?) I stayed a hotel way out on 192 I think we paid about $20 a night LOL!

After 9/11 I stayed at CSR for about $50. (Still didn't like the place!) I also got All Star sports for $39 when Disney tried the Price line experiment (that one died quickly)

In 2007 We stayed at a 2 bedroom condo/resort in Kissemee (it was the Mike Ditka Runaway Beach Club - I think it has a differnt name now) for about $50 a night. We thought it was fabulous.

In 1994 DH and I took a spur of the moment trip to WDW and we made a hotel reservation at one of those 'book your room now' places along the road in North Carolina. We ended up at a BRAND NEW just opened Sleep in across the street from a campgound on Irlo Bronson Highway (I think) for $20 a night. Again, it was a great hotel, we got very lucky.

$422 for a 3 br condo for 7 nights, so about $60/night. This was just this year.

We got a two bedroom, two bathroom villa at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in August 2012 for $69 per night. The villa was HUGE and had a king bed and roman tub in the master bedroom, a full kitchen with a breakfast bar, full sized laundry facilities, flat screen TV's, and a screened in deck. The use of all amenities was included, too (mini golf, paddle boats, etc.).

We had to attend a timeshare presentation to get that rate but WOW, did we get a fabulous room (for 8 nights) for our 4 hours of misery!!! :rotfl:

$55/night All stars music Annual pass discount in 2003. Post 9/11 low level crowds made good bargains. Another time in a Roach motel out on 192 for $33. Thank goodness it was only 1 night. There really was a roach on the wall! :o
