Wishes starts at 9, dessert party starts at 8. Would a 315 dinner at CP make it so we dont enjoy the party as much or is that enough time in between. Maybe I should try for 130-2 instead..

What do you think is the ideal time for a ts meal if wishes dessert party is at 8?

Wishes starts at 10 when we go, so the dessert party is at 9. We have an ADR for dinner at 5 and I'm starting to question that wisdom! I should have made it a bit earlier, but it's too late for me now ;)

I would say around 2:00 if you have an 8:00 dessert party. Just my opinion, I've never actually done the dessert party yet. We're doing it on July 21st.

Well, think of it this way: is 5 hours long enough to make room for dessert after dinner? I would think that if you will be doing any physical activity whatsoever in the interim, you should have some kind of appetite. If you had lunch at noon would you be ready for dinner at 5?

ETA: After all, it's a DESSERT party, not a meal. Just how much sweet stuff do you really want at that time of night.

We may be unusual, but we needed 8+ hours. What would normally go at home does NOT go at Disney.

We had a 12:30 lunch for LC; lunch took a long time due to some dietary restrictions but we were out by like 2:30. We all ate soup, and boxed up most or all of our entrees. We ate a few bites of dessert. (That soup is FILLING! Esp when you get a whole bowl!)

The food went back to the hotel with us and went in the fridge. When we showed up for our Wishes party at just shy of 9, we were just *starting* to be hungry. My plan had been for a pre-party snack, but we just were not hungry!

For me, the 3:15 dinner would be a good amount of time. I'd be ready for a snack by the time the party rolled around.

We had a 2pm lunch at Tony's and we were moderately ready for the dessert party. If having a buffet, I'd even do a little earlier and then plan something super light for 2 hours before the party (something non sweet).

Personally I think that is too long. And I would NOT do a buffet before hand.

If the party starts at 8pm, what I would do is have a 4:00pm dinner. Just not a buffet. And I wouldn't eat dessert with that meal.
That would give me 4 hours to digest, settle and be wanting a snack. What better than to do a dessert buffet!!! :thumbsup2

We are planning on doing the PSB lunch at 12:15, then will do a CS dinner around 5:30pm to be ready for our 9pm Desert party!:lovestruc
