Ok, I admit it. I have been to WDW, to many times to count, and I have never had, nor seen a "Kitchen Sink".

Though I have heard of it.

Well our friends who are going with us next week heard about it from someone & said we "have to get one".

But now I am at a loss, since I dont even know where the Kitchen Sink is?

So what resturant has it?

I cannot possibly imagine ordering something that large. But I sure would like to see us try to finish one. :lmao:

You can get it at Beaches & Cream. And here is the menu description, which is quite "understated!!"

Kitchen Sink - scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mint chocolate chip, smothered in every topping we have $21.99

Click here to see a Travel Channel video of the 'kitchen sink' being made (click the 4th photo in from the left). Enjoy and don't slobber too much on the keyboard. :thumbsup2

Wow! That seems like a lot of money! :scared: I think I could just have an ice cream sundae with my boys.

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Downtown Disney, has their own version of the Kitchen Sink called The Earthquake.

The Earthquake - 8 scoops of premium ice cream with 8 different toppings. Finished off with sliced bananas, whipped cream, chopped almonds and cherries $19.95

Great Link!!!!

My kids almost fainted!

I saw that on the Travel Channel when Samantha Brown was revewing the Yacht & Beach Club and I decided I had to have it. I can't wait to get it on my upcoming trip in April! :)

I swear I just ate this two hours ago and still don't really feel like moving!

We had five ppl and *almost* finished it. But frankly, it looks like crap as you get to the end as toppings and icecream have all melted together and look, well, like crap as previously stated :)

However, it was really good! I wouldn't do it again, but definitely had to do it at least once!

Wow!!! Thanks so much for the link! Now I'm wanting to plan another trip just to try that out!!! :thumbsup2 Now, if I can only convince my husband... :scratchin

I though it had too many candies in it. I like Ice Cream more.

They put to many things in the Kitchen Sink, IMO. We ask for it without the banana nut muffins or banana bread, whichever it is they put in there, and it is much better if you "customize" it a bit. We also ask for no pineapple sauce. If there are a few things you don't care for just ask them to leave it out, they will.

BTW, they use a whole entire can of whipped cream on one. Yes, the entire can!!! party:

yes, there are a few things I could have done without. IF we ever order it again (and we just might), I will scoop some into a serving bowl. We ate it straight out of the sink and it really got to be a nasty mess in short order.

It was fun, though!

We are taking our 2 granddaughters in Nov. and are going to give it a try. I can hardly wait to see the look on their faces when they bring it over. I'm sure we won't even put a dent in it but it will be fun trying!

glad to hear that you can customize it somewhat! After watching the video the kids can't wait until the end of April but are already taking bets as to who has to eat the maraschino cherries. I'm the only one in the family that eats them but usually 4 (one from everyone's sundae) is my limit !

Since its my DD's birthday during our stay, we will give it a try.
