What is the itinary for an Intimate Wedding?

Hi

I was just wondering about how the day is planned out for an intimate wedding at the wedding pavillion. I know they pick you up from your disney hotel and take you to the Grand Floridian but where do you go when you get there? Will my partner be taken there also as i dont want him to see me before the ceremony. Do they take photos of you and your partner before the ceremony cause again i dont want him to see me.

Would be grateful for some advise.

Not sure about the wedding pavillion but we seperated in the morning and Rick didn't see me until I was walking down the aisle. Randy met me at my hotel room and took pictures. He also went to the lobby and took pictures of the guys before the ceremony.

Jennifer told me that my DH2B will be picked up at 2 and I will be picked up at 2:30 for our 3pm at Sunset Pointe, that way he wont see me until it's time. As far as I know Disney is very good about keeping you seperate if that's your wish.

I was an intimate that got married at the WP. Are you using your 'limo time' for this? I choose not to use my limo time to transport us back and forth from the wedding. If you are, then you would tell your EM what you want. Do you want groom to be picked up first? I'm not sure why they would take you to the GF first though. Unless you were using Cinderella's Coach, which I did.

When you get there, they have a room for you to be in and a room for him to be in separately. My DH didn't see me until I was walking down the aisle.

Yes i am having the Cinderella coach.

So they will take my partner to the GF first then come back for me. Is that correct? Can the Video and photographer come in and film in the rooms they put you in?

We just had an intimate last month and we had Cinderella's coach. They picked up my husband at 8:30am (we had a 10am wedding) and then they dropped him off at the WP and went to pick up our guests at 9am and dropped them off at the WP then I was picked up at 9:30 with some guests and I was dropped off at the GF and my guests continued on to the WP. When I got to the WP all my guests were seated and my son and flower girl were waiting for me while my husband and ring bearer were in a room. I was sent into the Brides Vestibule and stayed there until it was time for me to walk down the isle. The minister came in there to meet me, I got my flowers there and I freshened up. The photographer took some pictures of my boys and husband before the wedding and then of me approaching in the coach and getting out along with a posed picture in front of the brides vestibule door. It was great and I never saw my husband once he left our room until I started down the isle.

What music is provided for the special dances and the cake cutting? Is it the viloinists?

For the intimate, a solo violinist is provided...however, you can choose to add other musicians if you want (and at an additional cost).

I will be honest, I wasn't too "thrilled" with the idea of a solo violinist for my wedding and wondered how my choice of music/songs would sound...but it was wonderful! I was VERY pleasantly surprised!
