What is the tour and where (and when) do you call to schedule it? Cost?
Thanks for the replies in advance

I took the tour in 2000 and hated it. I have heard some good things about it since though. At the time I had a child in a stroller and it was hard to keep up with the group when they started running. I just thought it was rude trying to get through the crowded park,I felt like everyone hated us. We also had to crawl on dirty floors which was gross. The premise was silly, definatley for the young child(not the young at heart). Look for more reviews before discounting it though. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

It is a tour that costs $25 per person and is a scavenger hunt through the magic kingdom. The premise can change but currently it's a peter pan one. At the end you get to meet a character (we met Wendy) The character takes you to a ride where you get to go right on.

My dh said it was the most magical experience and worth every penny. Our dd's are almost 6 and 2 3/4 and both loved it. You do wacky things, like hop, skip and jump, and have to find clues as you go to solve keep the magic kingdom safe. We loved it, and would do it again in a heart beat. It is a must do in our book!

We did it last summer and are going to do it again in July. It is so much fun! The basic premise is that Peter Pan stole Captain Hook's hook and Captain Hook wants it back by noon or something terrible will happen (ours was that he would turn all the restaurants in Disney World into Arby's!). One little girl actually screamed "NO!!" at this. :rotfl: But not to worry, Peter left a treasure map to follow to find the hook. Then you skip, hop, jump, play follow the leader, etc. to each clue location. It was silly but oh, so much fun! We had two breaks for the bathroom and time to get a drink. Our daughter was 4 last summer and didn't have any trouble keeping up. The last 30 minutes were spent with Peter Pan and Wendy (the characters are subject to change). They visited with each family, chatted for awhile and took photos. Peter was so funny that it's worth every penny just to listen to him. Then they took the children with parents following and running ahead to take photos of them walking hand in hand with Peter and Wendy to a ride. I've read that this changes but we went to Mickey's Philharmagic and sat in the first row with Peter and Wendy. Apparently he doesn't like to be quiet waiting for the show to start--the quiet game isn't fun for him--it's very funny to see how he entertains everyone until the show starts. :rotfl2: Then we were all sworn in as lost boys and girls and given certificates at the end of the tour. I think it's $25 but we were able to get a discount with our DVC membership (there may be an AP discount too). It's alot of fun and our daughter (and us) enjoyed it so much we're doing it again. I would suggest that you call and make reservations because we wanted to do it in April and there was nothing available at that time--it does book up. I highly recommend it! :goodvibes

We are planning on doing it on our Dec trip, for DS 5th birthday! I have heard great things about this tour and can't wait.

You can call 407-WDW-TOUR(pretty sure) and reserve it up to a year in advance.

There is a limit on how many are allowed on each tour. I read 18, but on the phone the CM told me 20.

My dd who is 5 did this tour with my husband in May. It is all she talks about. How she was able to meet the real Wendy. She had a blast. ( I stayed with are 2 year old. We thought he was still to young) We will probably do it again when are son is a little older.

I believe the tour is everyday at 10.

We just did this tour this tour in May and it was AWESOME!! My kids are 8 and 11 and we all enjoyed it very much - it was $25 per person and you can get a discount if you use Disney Visa or AAA - We got to meet both Peter Pan and Wendy at the end -and they spent at least 35- 40 mintues with the kids and we all got to watch Mickey's Philharmagic in the front row with them - we will definately do this tour again - my kids are still raving about it! Definately the highlight of our trip! :flower:
