Looking at my flights - I can take a 10:40 am flight out of Orlando after the cruise for a RT airfare of $207 pp ($828 family). I was told that is cutting it close. My next flight is at 1:05pm - not bad but that airfare is $337 RT pp ($1348 famiily). OUCH !!
Can I make the 10:40 flight ?????

Thanks
Bill

I would have to say I don't think you can make it at 10:40. Even the 1:05 is cutting it close. MCO is taking the security seriously, and I would HIGHLY recomend that you get to the airport 2 HOURS IN ADVANCE, as requested by the airlines....

Having said that...everyone is off the ship for 9:30, so you would be at the airport for 10:30 (maybe) and then you need to allow 2 hours for security, check-in, etc...that brings it to 12:30 flight. I wouldn't even consider booking anything earlier than that...

Just my opinion.

It can be done if there aren't any hold-ups. We got off the ship at 7:45am for a noon flight and checked our bags right at the port (on USAir) We got to MCO by 9:00am but we were already checked in at the port, so we didn't have to do anything but go through security (which we were done with by 10:00), Then we sat for 1 1/2 hours until boarding. This was all done without any complications (traffic jams, immigrations hold-ups on ship, etc.)
