I see people saying they got the discount but not what it is. Does anyone want to share so we have an idea of what we will get later this week???

I got room only for February at POR, pool view. POFQ had a smaller discount. CBR was 25% off. That's all I looked at. CSR was available, but didn't look into that as much as the other moderates.

I just got off the phone and am trying to figure out the numbers. The S/P/D looks to be about 15% off the package. The general public offer comes out Thursday.

I was the first call for the CM using the discount and she had trouble with the system knowing the code. I booked POP Preferred for 3 nights in Feb, 5 day tickets, dining upgrade for 4 adults for $2230.52.

She priced POR at 2343.60. POFQ was included but only King beds available for our dates(5-8).

I just called and applied room only to my existing reservation. Jan 11-15. Yacht club garden view club level. 30% discount.

Disney Visa promotion.
S/P/D
I was able to apply it to my existing reservation, but POFQ was not included. I had to switch resorts to Port Orleans Riverside. I had to put $200 on my Disney card towards my existing reservation.

Price went from 2787.97 to 3600.10 with S/P/D because I added dining to the reservation. Had I added dining to my existing reservation, the price would have been $4,425.25

There was also a discounted room price which was 15% off at POFQ.

We have two adults and one teenager.

My dates are January 23-February 1.

Anyone else? We're helping a friend plan for January 22-28. Trying to figure out their best option. Any details would be appreciated! It's not showing on my Disney Visa website as a Special Offer yet. :scratchin

We are checking in on the Friday of MLK weekend and were not blacked out, though not sure of the dates.

We got the SPD promo at POR - 2 adults, 2 kids, standard dining plan from Jan 16-25 and saved $882 or about 17% off package price :)

Oddly enough I didn't have to put anything on my visa? They didn't even ask for it though we do have one. I've made more than just the deposit on the trip before today but none of it was on my disney visa. I did use that card to book my dining reservations and add ons though. I did get the confirmation email, though updated balance isn't showing on the Disney website yet.

I know the deluxes were mostly 30% off, one was only 20% off and now I can't remember which one that was? :scratching It may have been AKL?

I know Wilderness Lodge was 30% off because I booked a std club level for 6 nights first week of February for $2366. Pretty pumped to try a new club level, hopefully my husband doesn't mind not being in the Epcot resort area. ;)

Called this morning and applied discount to my existing Wilderness Lodge 3 night reservation for $390.50 off. Not bad. She did ask for the code, which is good since I didn't have it. Did have to confirm that I have a Disney Visa and used it to pay the deposit.

Just got a discount for Poly CL for Jan 8-12 - room only. We're willing to rely on the quiet pool for the weekend, if we swim.

She could not apply the discount to our Jan. 4-6 reservation at AKL (doesn't start until January 5) and she could not apply the discount to our GF RPC reservation (not available.) She suggested checking back on Thursday when general public discounts become available.

The offer is always late to show up on the Visa site.

urggg.... nothing online that I could find, so I called. Twice;) because calling confuses me,and the poor CM that has to deal with me.:rotfl2: I thanked them both a lot) Anyway, it looks like for my trip a room only is our best bet,and it save us a couple of hundred dollars overall!:cool1:
The packages get complicated with our mix of people coming and going, and FP+ etc etc.
I wish there was a page with numbers, online so the exact discount amount could be calculated- rather than asking for number overall and just guessing. ( i have more questions, but I don't dare call and ask at this point:lmao:)

Did Chase or Disney Rewards send out an email about this? I feel like they haven't sent me an email in a long time, but I know they aren't always consistent about these things.

I did not see an email from Visa ... they are slow to email and post it on their site. I just called Disney and asked to apply the P/S/D to my reservation... saved over $650.00:thumbsup2

My stay is 1/7 - 1/15/2015

Thanks Poohbear13! I never knew you could apply these discounts to existing reservations (as long as the rooms they set aside are still available). I usually just wait for the discount to come out. This changes everything! :cloud9::love::rotfl:
