What is the Disney Dining Experience Discount Card??

Quoted from the WDW Tickets Sticky:::"A regular Annual Pass is valid for unlimited entries during regular park hours for the four major theme parks. There are no block-out dates. This is a Park Hopper pass. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort it includes free parking at the four major theme parks. Possession of an AP makes you eligible to purchase the Disney Dining Experience Discount Card and to get various other discounts on food, merchandise, lodging, and certain additional ticket purchases."

Can anyone tell me what the Disney Dining Experience Discount Card is?? Is it like the DDP or just a percentage discount when paying OOP for meals? We will be staying off site but we have 2 possibly 3 trips planned during the next year and so I thought the AP route might be a better option. Especially if we had a discount on dining!!

Has anyone else used this Discount Card and did you like it or not? Please explain either way.

TABLES IN WONDERLAND is a dining discount program for eligible Florida Residents and Annual Passholders 21 and older good for 20 percent off food and beverage at a number of Walt Disney World Resort hotel and theme park restaurants and lounges. The discount is good for up to 10 persons in your party. (Prior to 2005, the DDE, as it was commonly called, was only open to Florida residents.)
