what is the discount on package for free dining?

We are going the last week of August 2009 starting Aug 24 staying at Contemporary Reort. Can someone tell me what the discount off each day would be for the dining (we got the 1 counter & 1 table service w/snack daily), we are a family of 5, 2 adults & 3 children, going for 4 nights.

If they offer this again in April, do I just call and they take the dining price off of our balance?

And this free dining is good for Deluxe Resorts? thanks

The Free Dining discount is directly equal to the number of paying adults and children in your party, multiplied by the number of NIGHTS you are staying.

If you are a family of 2 Adults and 3 Children, (ages 3-9) your savings would be approximately $113. X 4 (#of nights) = $452.

This discount, like others, is available for a set number of rooms.

Getting the resort you want depends on availability.

When you call, you might need to know the discount code. If will be posted here at the Dis and on other sites as well as the WDW site.

Hmmm... hope I did my math correctly... lol

Adults - $40
Children, ages 3-9 - $11

Having a room "only" reservation will not guarantee being able to book a "Free Dining Package." I believe when you call, they will cancel your room only ressie and then have to make the Free Dining Package ressie. There is only a set number of rooms available for discounts. Of course, the sooner you call, the better your chances.
