What is the difference?

As I navigate the maze of rental condos I am finding that certain resots have what appears to be different resorts within one.

For example....Cypress Point Resort is different than Cypress Point Grande Villas?

And, Vistana Resort is diferent than Vistana Villages?

What is the real difference? I noted on one site that Vistana Resort is listed to have 7 pools, while Vistana Villages has one.

There prices are considerably different for CPGV and CPR?

Is anyone familiar enough with these resorts to address this difference? Someone like me could be easily lured into thinking that Vistana Villages is the same as Vistana Resort and would be really disappointed to get there and discover that there is a difference.

I've never stayed in either of these resorts, but am considering staying in either/or this summer. Strictly by researching, I think I am able to determine that the Grand Villas are newer, and I think, but am not positive, that the GV's have a jacuzzi in the 2 bedroom, while the CPR only has a roman tub. I'd love to get clarification on this, and hear about any other differences anyone might know of.

Cypress Point Resort is different than Cypress Point Grande Villas?

Vistana Resort is diferent than Vistana Villages?

These are actually two separate resorts, located miles apart.

Sheraton Vistana Resort is one of the first purpose-built timeshares ever built in the Orlando area. It's sprawling with many different sections (somewhat varied floorplans), a wide variety of activities and amenities for all ages, located pretty close to Downtown Disney.

Sheraton Vistana Villages is a brand new, smaller resort property, located on a less developed section of S. Int'l Dr., south of Sea World. HTH.

I found what I think are great rates for CPGV and CPR for our tentative travel dates (8/25-8/29). We will be me, dh, ds#1, ds#2, dm and dmil. So we'd love a 3 bdrm unit.

The price for these units for our time frame is showing at $128.04/night at each of the resorts. Considering it would cost me almost $100 + tax for a suite at HIFS and then dm and dmil would need a room as well, this is considerably less expensive, plus it sounds like there are terrific amenities at each.

Now, how do I choose? DS#1 will be 5.5 and ds#2 will be 13 months. DM and dmil will probably stay at the resort w/ ds#2 so I'd like them to have something to do (at a minimum, a nice pool area to sit in with shade) and we'd like to spend a day at the resort just relaxing so I'd like someplace where ds#1 would have fun. DM has had both knees replaced (and recovered from a shattered rt. femur) so I'd like to minimize unnecessary walking for her. I see that CPGV have elevators while CPR does not. But it sounds like the pool at CPR might be more fun for ds#1.

Can someone give me a bit of guidance about this? I've also been checking out VV but can't seem to get as good a rate as this. I think this might make more sense than taking 2 rooms on site at one of the value resorts or even at HIFS. While HIFS includes free breakfast every day, I think I'd like to be able to have a kitchen where I can keep some things I know our family likes and use them at our convenience.

Any help would be appreciated.
