What is the difference between Value and Standard at AKV

The value rooms at AKV are smaller than the other rooms and are located only in Jambo House. They were hotel rooms that were converted to DVC.

The 1 and 2 bedrooms do not include the sleeper chair either so they have 1 less in terms of occupany than the standard rooms.

Views for the value can be pool, parking lot, or savannah. Standard view rooms at Jambo are of the pool, and the ones at Kidani, can be pool or parking lot.

thanks...which village to most people request? we are looking to use pool alot and minimize walking as we have a 2 and 5 year old.

If you rely on counter service dining at your resort, then you would want to stay in Jambo House. Kidani Village doesn't have counter service dining.

At AKV, Jambo House and Kidani Village are booking categories. You will know when you reserve which you are staying in and you will check-in at that location. If you have a preference, let the CM know when you call to book.

Is one more preferred than the other? Location to pool and transit are important to us...close to lobby.

we had a great room that was convenient to the pool area. It was on the 3rd floor and near the elevator that went to the parking area; the pool was a quick walk of about 3-5 mins (depending on elevator!).
